Short Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)
The STSOL (Short-term Skilled Occupation List) features occupations in demand as determined by the Department of Employment (DoE) and the Department of Home Affairs. The STSOL is reviewed and updated every six months.
The STSOL is an additional list to the STSOL although every occupation on the MLTSSL is eligible for the same visa pathways as occupations on the STSOL.
Occupations on the STSOL are eligible for the Australia 190 Visa
Occupation that are only on the STSOL are not eligible for the 189 Visa.

Do I need to have an occupation on the STSOL to apply for Australia Immigration?
If you do not have an occupation on the STSOL you are not eligible for Skilled Migration.
